Unique Venues

Our collection of venues in Cambridge offer an array of unique and extraordinary options to choose from. With Tudor dining halls, once graced by Queen Elizabeth I and II in addition to famous museums and historic gardens, these architecturally stunning spaces provide the perfect backdrop for impressive meetings and events.

Unique venues in Cambridge

The oldest venue in our collection was founded in 1284 and the most recent meeting facility was built in 2022, so there is plenty of unique venues to choose from. Meetings, events and private dinners are all possible in the Cambridge Colleges where visitors can take in the academic ambience and wonder about the great minds that might have gone before - enjoy a brainstorming session in a location that inspired Isaac Newton or dinner in William Wordsworth’s former student room. If you need a bigger space, we have the largest space in the city centre seating up to 1,400 guests. Once a space where farmers and corn merchants would trade, it’s now a multi-purpose concert venue, perfect for conferences and exhibitions. Just outside the city of Cambridge, organisers have the option to hire the facilities at the home of horseracing, Newmarket, where delegates can immerse themselves in the sport of kings; a range of facilities are on offer including the option to start the day with a visit to see the exhilarating spectacle of the gallops in full flow!

Hire a Museum in Cambridge

Cambridge has more collections in its museums in a square mile than any other UK city outside of London. Once the doors are closed to the public, many of these spaces can be hired for exclusive use for events and celebrations. The galleries are perfect spaces for drinks and welcome receptions as well as dinners and dining; picture dining under the wings of Concorde, an experience that can’t be equalled! Additional services include the option for curators to be on hand throughout your event to share the stories of these wonderful places exhibits with your guests – a great icebreaker!
