Overcoming challenges, sharing solutions, cultivating change

As an event planner, where do you start with embedding environmental and social sustainability into your events?  How do you convince stakeholders that this is no longer a  'nice to have' but a wholly essential part of an event? Where can you find resources and support?

Big questions...and we can't claim to have all of the answers so we're asking the experts!

If you're an event planner, professional conference organiser, or programme manager with a desire to change your events for the better, Shaping Sustainable Events is the one event that you can't afford to miss this year.

With two expert speakers, focusing on environmental and social sustainability, a panel session that promises some lively discussion and an opportunity to meet with representatives from Cambridge venues over a networking lunch, Shaping Sustainable Events is an opportunity for you to immerse yourself in two of the industry's hottest topics.  Make connections and pick up tips and ideas to help you create more purposeful, more inclusive and less wasteful events.

As an industry of problem solvers, there is a huge opportunity to be a catalyst for change in how we run the events of now and in the future. By coming together at Shaping Sustainable Events to share knowledge and experience we hope that everyone will leave with practical tips to get started on making that change happen!
