An energy saving system has been installed in the hotel which reduces the amount of electricity used throughout. Movement detectors in areas of high water usage have also been installed which has led to a reduction of the amount of water being used across the hotel.
We took the opportunity to catch up with Jade Cameron, Sales & Marketing Executive, to find out about her role and what she loves about the Clayton Hotel. Jade is new to Cambridge having moved here just six months ago when she started her new role at the hotel, she's enjoying exploring the city and all that it offers. Speaking about her job, she explained that she is involved in marketing all of the hotel's products, working with the different heads of departments to develop strategies and offers.
Jade, what makes the Clayton Hotel unique?
The Clayton Hotel's central location, right next to Cambridge's main train station means that we're ideally positioned for anyone already in Cambridge and those visiting. Our spaces are perfect for clients looking to lunch, book an off-site meeting room, or to just to kick back and relax. We’ve recently introduced a unique ‘Graze Station’ for clients and it's proving very popular, we've had excellent feedback. For anyone wishing to venture into the historic centre of the city, there are so many travel options, including electric VOI scooters which offer a fun way to see the sights.
