The College provides an ideal location for events with spacious meeting rooms and exclusive-use buildings, superb cuisine and excellent customer service all set within 20 acres of lawns and grounds in the centre of Cambridge.
Hold your event outside
Set amidst 20 acres of lawns and trees, the neo-classical buildings and surroundings of Downing College provide the perfect backdrop for range for a wide range of external events. Why not take advantage of the sunny weather and take your event outside!
The Downing grounds offer space for drinks receptions on the Fellows' Lawn or a BBQ on the West Lodge Gardens, and also work very well in tandem with any of our conference facilities, the West Lodge rooms or the Hall.
