University Arms is delighted to announce the arrival of its new Head Pastry Chef, Murat Ugur. Murat joins with a wealth of experience from his 12-year Pastry Career so far.
Classically trained in French pastry, Murat was first inspired by his mother who excelled at making traditional Turkish pastries.
Murat’s professional origins are in his native Turkey, at the Corner Boutique Hotel in Bodrum, as a Junior. He then worked his way up to becoming the Executive Pastry Chef at Pate Sucree & Bella Ciao in Doha.
With a desire to create new delightful renditions of British confectionary classics, Afternoon teas and sweet desserts at University Arms will be elevated to another level under his stewardship.
