Meet Cambridge, the conference and events bureau for Cambridge and the region has announced that it will be attending the Peterborough Biscuit Business Event at the East of England Arena and Events Centre on Wednesday 7 February 2018.

With a portfolio of over 70 venues, the team are looking forward to introducing themselves to event and meeting planners as well as venues from the Peterborough area. Formerly, Conference Cambridge, the organisation rebranded in 2016 and opened up its membership to venues outside of Cambridge for the first time.

Meet Cambridge takes around 4000 enquiries per year for business events of all types and offers a free, venue-finding service for event planners as well as contacts for event management services and suppliers.

Kelly Vickers, Managing Director said: ‘We’re very much looking forward to exhibiting at the Peterborough Biscuit Business Event for the first time to meet with planners and venues in the area. We hope that the event will help us to engage with a new audience; it’s a fantastic opportunity for our team to learn more from the business community, both planners and venues, about their needs in terms of meetings and events.’

The Meet Cambridge team will be asking Peterborough Biscuit visitors to share their knowledge on all things events. Visitors to the stand who participate will be entered into a prize draw to win a bottle of Champagne or an ‘Event Planners Tool Kit’ – and for each completed survey, Meet Cambridge will make a donation of 20p to CPSL MIND, its chosen charity for 2018.
