Executive Head Chef Ermal, who leads the kitchen at the hotel’s Bull & Bass Restaurant, has been named joint winner of the prestigious Passion For Plating 2025 Aviko MasterChef competition, held in Mallorca. Chef Ermal competed alongside other top chefs from across Europe and particularly impressed judges during the Dish Mystery Box challenge, where he showcased his exceptional skill in transforming simple ingredients into extraordinary creations.
Form his roots in Albania, Chef Ermal brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the Bull & Bass, offering a vibrant menu inspired by Mediterranean, Asian, and fusion cuisine. Under his leadership, the restaurant has become known for its dynamic monthly Supper Clubs making it a standout dining destination in Cambridge.
As part of his win, Chef Ermal has also been invited to visit Aviko HQ in the Netherlands this October for an exclusive behind-the-scenes factory tour.
