Ridley Hall is a Theological College in the heart of historic Cambridge. Ridley is proud to welcome guests to it’s beautiful and significant site, to enjoy a range of activities from dining, conferencing to overnight stays.

Ridley Hall’s traditional 19th Century dining hall features impressive portraits as well as notable stained glass, it is a truly magnificent space to entertain guests in. Ridley hall also boasts a large lawn in the central courtyard, perfect for garden parties in warmer months and our 19th Century lecture hall is a unique venue for gatherings, lectures, receptions or dining.

As well as being a spectacular entertainment venue, Ridley Hall also offers conferencing and learning spaces equipped with AV features, to suit both smaller meetings and away days as well as larger conferences.

The skilled and experienced staff team are able to offer an excellent experience, going above and beyond to make guests time at Ridley Hall truly special, and happy to cater to individual needs and requests.

The Ridley Hall Dining & Events Team is lead by Executive Head Chef, Howard Milton. Howard and his skilled team are pleased to offer exciting seasonal menus for private dining, parties and events in the beautiful 19th-century Dining Hall just minutes' walk from Cambridge city centre.

Did You Know?

  1. David Sheppard, who played cricket for England, making his Test debut against West Indies in 1950, trained at Ridley Hall.
  2. The Channel 4 Time Team led an archaeological dig at Ridley in 2012, unearthing signs of a Roman settlement.
  3. The Chapel windows feature work of Joan Howson, a British stained glass artist of the Arts and Crafts movement.
  4. Timothy Dudley-Smith, who wrote the popular hymn Tell Out, my Soul, was a bishop who trained at Ridley Hall.
