Queens’ College is a unique venue in the heart of Cambridge, located on the River Cam and home to the famous Mathematical Bridge. The College blends 15th-century history with modern event space and exceptional food and service.

The College is home to some of the most impressive historical architecture in Cambridge to include The Old Hall, Old Kitchens, Munro Room and Erasmus Rooms, which date back as far as 1448. These exceptional rooms provide a unique backdrop and setting for a variety of different events and never fail to impress.

Queens’ College combines, old with new and Fitzpatrick Hall offers a state of the art lecture theatre combined with the latest in audio-visual production for up to 240 guests. Cripps Hall can host over 350 delegates, creating flexible and adaptable event options

Queens’ College's unique meeting facilities are supported by an exceptional catering team, developing menus that fit exactly to client's needs and budget.

Green Initiatives

  1. Queens’ now offer more plant-based foods which are seasonal to reduce C02 Admissions from Cattle.
  2. Due to the decline of fish in our seas, Queens’ have signed up to the sustainable Fish Campaign.
  3. The College now use Paper bags rather than plastic in the Visitors shop, all pencils in the shop are recycled.
  4. Queens’ have introduced Eco Friendly re-usable cups, which are 100% Natural and made from Rice Husk.

Did You Know?

  1. The iconic, world-famous, wooden 'Mathematical' Bridge joins the historic east side of the College to the modern west side.
  2. Picturesque Cloister Court is one of the most beautiful sights in Cambridge, featuring the outstanding Elizabethan timber-framed President's Long Gallery.
  3. The medieval Old Dining Hall has been beautifully restored, providing a historic atmosphere in keeping with the College's long tradition.
  4. Queens' plural 's' represents two foundresses, Margaret of Anjou and Elizabeth Woodville, and its present patroness, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
