– Be inspired by Cambridge’s academic and literary heritage and book a private office at the city’s most historic hotel, complete with park views, gym access & ‘Creative Hour’ cocktails –

Local residents in need of a change of scenery or those travelling to Cambridge to be inspired by it’s academic heritage can now make the city’s most historic hotel University Arms their base, with the launch of it’s new Work From Hotel (WFH-otel) initiative.

The hotel is offering daily room hire between 8am – 6pm in its superior rooms, designed by designer-du-jour Martin Brudnizki, which have been transformed into beautifully-appointed private offices. Each office is flooded with natural light with views of Parker’s Piece and boasts a comfortable work station, Nespresso machine and tea making facilities with daily fresh milk delivery and even a sumptuous bed for power naps to maximise brain function!

Additionally, WFH-otel guests will have complimentary access to the hotel’s gym, a special parking rate of £15 per day and of course, the delicious Parker’s Tavern food at their beckon call. Parker’s Tavern’s homemade bento boxes can be delivered to the room and are ideal for working lunches. The box includes the Chef’s daily hot dish, a wrapped sandwich, salad pot and dessert. For those who prefer to dine at the restaurant, Parker’s Tavern is just downstairs; a perfect spot in the centre of Cambridge for lunch meetings and after-work drinks.

To ensure creative juices are in full flow, guests can make the most of ‘Creative Hour’ between 5-6pm each day. When requested, a Cambridge Dry Gin & Tonic will be mixed door side on the hotel’s bespoke cocktail trolley and promises to refresh and rejuvenate for the rest of the working day!

HOW: An office room at University Arms is £129 per day, for use between 8am – 6pm.
