Worldspan is an events & creative agency based in North Wales. As one integrated agency they offer four services areas, which include Events, PCO, Motivation and Creative. This particular event was organised on behalf of a healthcare client that wanted to host a meeting in Cambridge, together with an evening dinner and afternoon activity.

Brief

Elin Hughes-Jones from Worldspan who organised the event said: “We were tasked with sourcing and booking accommodation for delegates, managing return airport transfer, arranging food and beverage during the meeting and organising two evening dinners with an activity– one for up to 40 guests and a smaller gathering for up to 20.

Event

“Because of the popularity of the event, at one stage we had more attendees than the room at Clare College could comfortably accommodate. The team at Clare College were very accommodating and offered us a larger, more modern room, but the decision was made to reduce the number of attendees so that they guests could still experience The Small Hall, which is a more traditional room. We also used the Junior Common Room for pre-dinner drinks."
