Out-of-town venues have many advantages for both regional and global organisations and whilst traditional city centre academic venues will still be top of the list for many organisers, using a venue on the outskirts has its advantages too. Look beyond the city for a meeting or event location and you’ll find a host of contemporary spaces, barns and hotels that offer plentiful parking, acres of land and easy access.

Less than 30 minutes’ drive from central Cambridge
Madingley Hall is a sixteenth century country house about three miles west of Cambridge and the historic City centre, with easy access from the M11, the A14 from the North and East, and the A428 from the West.
